Terms & Payment Acknowledgment

Casa da Papolia — Rental Terms & Conditions

 

1. Booking & Payment

  • All bookings are made directly through our secure online payment system.

  • Prices are displayed in Euros (€) and may vary depending on the number of guests and selected dates.

  • Payment in full is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Payments are processed via PCI-DSS compliant and 3-D Secure verified providers (Stripe / WooCommerce).

2. Pricing & Guest Policy

  • The total price shown before checkout reflects the guest-based rate structure.

  • The guest must declare the correct number of people staying in the accommodation.

  • Any undeclared guest or visitor may result in additional charges or cancellation without refund.

3. Security Deposit

  • A refundable security deposit may be required upon arrival to cover potential damages or excessive cleaning.

  • The deposit will be refunded within 7 days after check-out, subject to property inspection.

4. Cancellation & Refunds

  • Cancellations made more than 30 days before arrival: 80% refund.

  • Cancellations made 15–30 days before arrival: 50% refund.

  • Cancellations within 14 days of arrival: no refund.

  • No-shows and early departures are non-refundable.

5. Check-in & Check-out

  • Check-in: from 15:00

  • Check-out: until 11:00

  • Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request, subject to availability and additional fees.

6. House Rules

  • No smoking inside the property.

  • Pets are not allowed unless previously approved.

  • Parties or events are not permitted without prior written authorization.

  • Guests are expected to maintain the cleanliness of the accommodation and respect the neighborhood.

7. Liability

  • The property owners are not liable for loss, theft, injury, or damage incurred during the stay.

  • Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the property or its contents during their stay.

8. Force Majeure

  • The owner shall not be held liable for cancellations or modifications due to events beyond their control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, or governmental restrictions.

  • In such cases, alternative dates or partial refunds may be proposed.

9. Privacy & Data

  • Personal information is collected solely for booking and communication purposes.

  • Data is handled in compliance with GDPR regulations.

10. Acceptance

By confirming the booking and completing the payment, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions and agree to abide by all house rules and policies.
